What it does

How Bid Ask Display reads the chart.

Numbers at the inside move faster than you can read them, so Imprint Bid/Ask turns Level 1 into a picture. The best bid (mint) and ask (red) with their resting sizes, the spread in ticks, the last trade with an up/down tick arrow, and a tug-of-war pressure bar that splits mint vs red by where the size actually sits, so you instantly feel which side is stacked, plus a BID / ASK / BALANCED verdict. All from Level 1, which every NinjaTrader feed provides; no DOM eating your screen. Display-only: it places no orders and changes no data.

Common questions.

Do I need a Level 2 / DOM feed?
No. It uses Level 1 (best bid/ask plus sizes), which every NinjaTrader data feed provides.
What does the pressure bar show?
The split between resting bid size and ask size at the inside market: more mint means more size on the bid, more red means more on the ask. It reflects best-bid/ask size, not full market depth.
